Kory Johnson has been taking photographs since his early teens. It all started using simple point and shoot cameras on vacation and evolved to using his father's KS1000 Sears camera. Kory went on to learn to develop B&W film and continued to have an enthusiasm towards photography up into the digital age.
Kory started focusing on architecture and landscapes before developing a love of capturing emotions in everyday life. In the past couple years Kory has taken his skill to a part time business of portraiture, wedding and life photography.
Kory is firmly rooted in his town of Louisville, Kentucky and enjoys all that is local around him. From photographing local bands for press material to donating photographic services to the Kentucky Humane Society and the Louisville AIDS Walk, he believes that if you give to your local community, the community will give back ten fold.
